LEXUS TURNS UP THE HEAT
WITH THE V8-POWERED
IS 500 F-SPORT PERFORMANCE

Hot on the heels of the redesigned 2021 IS, Lexus has announced the hottest of all: the IS 500 F-Sport Performance. V8 power returns to the IS lineup for the first time since 2014, and the result is a serious driving machine.

Lexus has married the brilliant rear-wheel drive chassis of the new IS with the sublime 5.0-litre V8 from the RC-F sport coupe. The IS 500 has 472 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque on tap, sent to the pavement through the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The IS 500 also brings all of the latest and greatest tech and performance features along for the ride, including a brand new touchscreen infotainment system, and a sport suspension system with upgraded springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars.

Let's get to know Ellen Jankowski, Assistant New Car Sales Manager & Financial Services Coordinator at Lexus Downtown. 

Ellen has been a member of the Lexus Downtown for the better part of the last five years, and has worked in a number of different roles. She started as a receptionist, and worked her way up through the ranks, holding positions as Sales Administrator, CRM Champion, Assistant F&I Manager, F&I Manager, and her current hybrid role.

Before Ellen joined the automotive industry, she worked in the hotel industry as a member of the Management team at the Royal York Hotel. She’d heard that the automotive industry had strong potential, and leveraged her experience in luxury hospitality...
